JSON Formatter
Beautify, minify, validate
Paste JSON to beautify, minify, or validate it — with error messages that point at the problem. Parsing happens locally; great for debugging API responses and tidying config files.
How to use
- Paste JSON into the input;
- Click "Beautify" for indented output or "Minify" for one line;
- On syntax errors, the message usually names the position — fix and retry;
- "Copy result" puts the output on your clipboard.
FAQ
"Unexpected token" — what's usually wrong?The top three: single quotes (JSON requires double), a trailing comma on the last key, or unquoted keys.
How large a file is supported?Local parsing handles several MB comfortably; beyond that, prefer the command-line jq.
Is my data stored?No. The page makes no backend requests and resets on refresh.
